What others are saying
“When I transitioned from the legislature to the executive director of the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine, I was pleased to see that Cheryl served on the SAM Board of Directors. During her service on the board and later as president, there were major reforms and restructuring of the nearly 10,000 member organization and it is my sincere belief that without Cheryl’s leadership many of those reforms would have failed.”
“As a member of the Maine Beer and Wine Distributors Association, I have worked closely with Cheryl Timberlake for nearly 20 years. Going beyond “lobbyist” .....warehouse tours with legislators , organizing legislative gatherings for meet and greets, active participation in both State and Federal industry issues, an uncanny ability to stay on top of the issues, relationship building with Governor’s Office, Legislators, and State Departments....this is what it takes to be successful in today’s political world.
”
“As Secretary of State, when we hosted the summer conference of the National Association of Secretaries of State, hiring Cheryl and the resources of Capitol Insights only made logical sense. Her strong organizational skills and results-based accountability model not only made our conference a success, but her skill at connecting us with funders allowed the 2015 NASS Summer Conference to set records in attendance, participant feedback, and in revenue returned to the organization.”
